Can you make cake pops in an hour with only 7 ingredients? Sure you can! It’s easy and lots of fun. Enjoy the visual recipe below and let me know if the pictures helped you. I made these cake pops for the Fall Festival at St. Josephs, what a wonderful family day it was! I’ve included the text as well and a downloadable PDF in case the pictures are difficult to read.
Ingredients: 1 Cake Box, 3 Eggs, 1/3 Cup Vegetable Oil, 1 Cup Water, 2 Cups Chocolate, Sprinkles, Cake Pop Sticks
Step 1: Bake a Box Cake – any regular plain box cake will work.
Step 2: Throw the Hot Cake into a Blender. Right after taking it out of the oven. It will be hot and turn into a ‘cooked dough’.
Step 3: Roll Balls and Cool in the Refrigerator.
Step 4: Melt the Chocolate. I love Toll House or Andes Mints! Place it in the microwave for 50 seconds to prevent from burning it on the stove, which always happens to me.
Step 5: Dip the Stick in Chocolate and then into the Cake Pop. This creates a glue so the ball does not slide off.
Step 6: Decorate the Cake Pop. Smear some more chocolate on the cake pop and throw on the sprinkles! Voila!
